The trio Bäckström-Nebbia-Muruaga has a unique sound influenced from jazz and contemporary music.

Jonathan Bäckström is a bassist, composer, improviser and band leader from Kronoby, Finland based in Helsinki, Finland. He works within the broader spectrum of free improvisation, free jazz, contemporary music and jazz. He graduated from Novia UAS in 2019.


Camila Nebbia is a saxophone player, composer, improviser, multidisciplinary artist curator and educator from Buenos Aires, Argentina based in Germany. Her artistic practice reflects the Relationship between composition, free improvised music, film and Mixed media creations, where memory and identity are some of the main resonances of her work.


Gon Muruaga Olguin is an Argentinian electric guitar player, composer, and improviser, very active in the Helsinki and Tallinn artistic scene. His musical approach combines elements of jazz, free improvisation, experimental music, sound investigation, and interdisciplinary cooperation. He holds a degree in guitar Performing and Contemporary music.
