Cats have long been symbols of independence, mystery, and intuition. Kissakuva explores their stoic approach to the world and their remarkable ability to blend into human lives while steadfastly preserving their own identity. Through a mix of humor, curiosity, and quiet contemplation, these images offer a fresh perspective on freedom, presence, and the delicate dance of coexistence.

In Kissakuva, cats exist as stoic observers—self-reliant, unapologetically themselves, and profoundly connected to the moment. This exhibition invites you to step into their world and reflect on the unique wisdom of feline existence.

Artists:

Joonas Ahtikallio is an artist and photographer who explores themes of the fragile connection between humans and nature. Having discovered photography at a young age through capturing images of cats, he returns to his roots with Kissakuva, aiming to capture the unique personalities of cats.

Aryan Vandi is a versatile artist and illustrator with professional experience spanning publication, advertisement, and entertainment. A curious cat lover at heart, he brings his fascination with feline grace and personality into his work, making Kissakuva a natural extension of his artistic journey.
