The garden is a warm place where the circle of life spins quickly and easily, a place where
the air is moist and concentrated sunshine makes life sprout, grow stalks and thorns and
little wings.
And in the night it’s cold and quiet.
A garden is a place that is dreamlike and also real, where life wriggles out of the mud made
from life that was there before.
A place where you might feel the simple pleasures of a worm or another critter of some kind.
