AN HANNON – MUOTOKUVIA
Näyttely koostuu joukosta piirrettyjä sekä kartongille tehtyjä muotokuvia. Näissä muotokuvissa näemme nimettömiä henkilöitä ja hahmoja, joista emme tiedä oikeastaan mitään. Tiedämme vain jotain hetkestä, jolloin saavumme heidän luokseen: Katsomme heitä ja he katsovat meitä takaisin. Mitä tässä kohtaamisessa tapahtuu? Mitä näemme, kuulemme, tunnemme tai kuvittelemme? Millaisia tarinoita katseet kertovat ja ovatko silmät sielun peili?
Muotokuvia on teatteriohjaajaksi valmistuneen Ian Hannonin ensimmäinen kuvataidenäyttely.
Lisäksi näyttelyssä on esillä myös pieni valikoima muita töitä.

IAN HANNON – PORTRAITS
The exhibition consists of a number of drawn and cardboard-made portraits. In these portraits we see nameless persons and characters of whom we know actually nothing about. We only know something about the moment in which we come over to them: We look at them and they look back at us. What happens inside of this encounter? What do we see, hear, feel or imagine? What kind of stories do these looks tell and are eyes the mirror of the soul?
Portraits is the first visual arts exhibition of Ian Hannon, who is a graduated theater director.
In addition there is also a small selection of other works on display in the exhibition.
